Craving for Pani Paris in NJ in an Indian setup? Look no further than Hot Breads. By Indian setup, I meant how you don't take a seat in a restaurant and wait for the puris to be served in a plate. This is proper Indian way of eating pani puris where you stand, hold a cup and gobble the puris the shop person continuously shoots at you, while racing against time. We brought one of our American friends to this place to get him have a taste of what a Pani puri was and we were glad they didn't disappoint us. We paid at the counter, took the bowls and got ready to be bombarded with the puris. The specialty about this place is that they have an array of different ‘paanis’/flavored waters - Ginger, mango, mint, hing, regular jaljeera and a lot more stationed in a cart. Just wish that the lady on the cart was more hospitable. Also, we once got a Blackforest cake from here and it was well made.

The BEST pani puri in the whole USA. Being from mumbai, living in New Jersey, i have always been craving for evening snack of going for pani puri. But every time I eat at Hot breads. It takes me back to the same old indian taste Best Pani Puri spot in USA.

I heard about hot and bread from one of my friend. She told me that their Pani Puri is awesome. I lived in mumbai for some years so I love “Ragda Pani puri” that I only found here. They have 7 kinds ko pani puri water. That do have aalu pani puri . You can customize your pani puri there . They server pani puri on a stall so you will feel like you are having pani puri in India only. They have many other snacks like rolls , puff etc.

This place serves the freshest and most flavorful live Pani Puri I’ve ever had! Watching them prepare each puri live adds to the excitement, and every bite bursts with the perfect combination of tangy, spicy, and sweet flavors. A must-visit for any street food lover.

Visited this morning, and it was a delightful experience! The vada pav was authentic and full of Mumbai flavors, while the dahi batata puri was refreshing with its chilled, flavorful dahi. The rabdi jalebi was creamy and perfectly crisp, making it a standout. The service setup was smooth, and the overall ambience added to the charm. A must-visit for anyone craving authentic Mumbai street food!

Lot of negative reviews here. I would say- place itself is not that clean and nice. But- I’m giving 5 stars for their vegan Black Forest cake and their live delicious panipuri. Since I’m vegan- it’s very hard to find pretty decent and delicious cake around area. Finally found them and I must say- they do good job making vegan cakes and yummy panipuris.

Food is great, plus I prefer the cake from here than red ribbon so give it try? I have been getting birthday cakes from here consistently for couple years now They are busy so the service can be slow at times but totally worth the wait time. Atmosphere is what you would imagine indian square atmosphere to be like lol very jam packed when people, the game 3 stalls serving food inside the store so there are 2 different lines and it can get a bit chaotic. But again totally worth it in my opinion 10/10
